Sunshine and shadows


I went for a hike in the mountains this morning with a friend from work. The sun was just starting to shine and the weather was very beautiful. I have posted a lot of pictures from this place and I probably will keep on doing that every once in a while because I always find this scenery so beautiful :o)

Understandable, Oddur! :) It is wonderful how the scenery dwarfs the town. Even in the full-size photo it's hard to make out Isafjordur. Another great pic!

Thank you AS. The wide angle lens dramatizes this scenery, but I had so many pictures that show the town close up that I tried to do something different this time :o)

Enn og aftur segi ég; birtan í myndunum þínum er alveg mögnuð! Flott að sjá hvernig allt er í skugga nema fjallið á móti, og þarna sér maður líka mjög vel leguna á bænum :o) Steinarnir í forgrunni gefa raunveruleikatilfinningu, eins og maður standi þarna sjálfur! :D

Takk kærlega Begga. Ég þurfti nú aðeins að dekkja ljósa hlutann, birtumunurinn var svo mikill. Gleiðlinsan bjagar fjallið á móti talsvert en legan á bænum skilar sér mjög vel þarna og sundið sem skipin þurfa að sigla í gegnum til að komast á aðalhöfnina :o)

Verðrið hefur bara verðið nokkuð gott í dag hjá ykkur. Flott mynd :) Svona mynd af Ísafirði hef ég ekki séð áður. Það er óhætt að segja að linsan sé víð :)

Takk Gunnsteinn. Veðrið var alveg frábært fram yfir hádegi. Ég fór í aðra fjallgöngu eftir hádegið, upp á Hnífana en þá var orðið skýjað og fór svo að snjóa.
Og linsan er nokkuð víð, fjallið lítur ekki alveg svona út í raun :o)
