Brighter times ahead


After a long and dark winter the sun is finally starting to show again. I didn't see it but it lit the town up for a while when the thick clouds drifted away. I took this picture from my home a few days ago.

Fascinating shot, Oddur! I like the ribbon of cloud which stretches down the valley and out to sea. The cliffs look transformed wth the sun shining on them. I see the snow is still quite thick.

Thank you AS. It was quite fascinating to see how the clouds vanished and the sun started to shine through. The snow is still quite thick, but at least it is getting warmer and it even rained yesterday :o)

Takk Begga. Sólin var á bak við fjöllin fyrir aftan og rétt náði að skína á hluta af Eyrinni í smá stund. Það var mjög falleg birtan þegar skýin voru að leysast svona upp í sólskininu :o)
