Absolutely great... I've never seen a runway directly at the water and with so much ice around.

How long is the runway in Isafjordur?

Thank you Sandra. This runway is unique I guess. There is the sea on one side and a water on the other. Also the runway points in to mountain at both ends. As soon as they get off the ground, they have to make a turn away from the mountain ;o)
This runway is about 1,5 kilometers long. Looks you are interested in runways and plains :o)
