It always amazes me how difficult it is to get nice photos of birds. I tried for an hour with these birds flying all around me and these few photos was the best I could do.

According to on on of my contacts this Tern is similar to White-cheeked Tern but that is mainly a Middle Eastern species that we're very unlikely to see in Mauritania. His thinks it is an immature Common Tern called, Sterna hirundo. Thanks Dave :)

Thanks John :) I guess some wild life photographer will laugh when they see that I am complaining that it took me an hour to get some decent photos. I know some photographers have to wait for hours or days to get the shot they are looking for but I had thousands of birds flying all around me so it should not have been that difficult :)

Sammála ofangreindu kommenti (fliss) mjög flottar myndir Gussi - eins og þú segir er ekkert auðvelt að ná góðum fuglamyndum, sérstaklega ekki þegar þeir eru á flugi...

Takk Ragga :) Ég skil ekki orð í Frönsku, var þetta ekki Franska annars LOL Nei það er ekki auðvelt að ná þeim á flugi og gerist erfiðara eftir því sem þeir eru smærri því þá eru þeir sneggri í hreifingum.

Skemmtileg þessi, flott að sjá hvernig hún notar stélið til að stýra sér í beygju... :o)
Ótrúlega gaman að sjá tæknina sem þeir nota við flugið...

Takk Begga :) Ég sat í hurðinni á brúnni og fylgdist með þeim lenda á brúarvængnum sem var í tveggja metra fjarlægð frá mér. Ef ég truflaði þá þá sá maður einmitt hvernig þeir notuðu vængina og stélið til að breyta um stefnu. Það var lítill vindur og því þurftu þeir að taka á því stundum þegar þeir hættu við lendingu.

Excellent shot, bird shots are extremely difficult... I tried a hundred times this year, but I did not achieve such an excellent result yet. Congrats!

Thanks for your nice comments :) I appreciate it. I did not realize how hard it was to get photos of birds until I started to take these photos. I took hundreds of photos of birds that were flying around me but I did not get many really good shots in focus.
