Loved your comment. Cause if anything I don't like is acting specially for photographing ( talking about self ) and I don't like photographs of social cases ( people ) blah, boring and washed out theme.. So I dig around my album and play with the crop with photographs I never thought I'd post or play with ( talking about self portraits ).

So two things you'll never find in my photo stream, acting or pittyness ( if that word exist ).

I like self portraiture, in the vein of Lee Friedlander. He tends to make himself look extremely bad, it's funny. Coming down off of acid? who knows. He's not putting on a facade or looking for pity-ness. He explains that he noticed his image popping up in photos, reflections , mirrors, and decided to make a book out of it. He is an extremely prolific photographer, so his self portrait gig is a humorous aside, I find myself copying him some. Maybe I am a poseur after all. But like Lee, I'd like to learn not to take myself at all too seriously. Your crops are fun, reminds me I must watch the Matrix again, found a copy in a junk store etc,...

I can see this on a billboard for an ad for either sunglasses or mascara. Beautiful and intense look!

That's exactly what me and my " editors " said for this one ( I always have editors when it comes to a self portraits because I don't want to send a wrong message and then I need a second opinion ). It has to be neutral :)
