The church is constructed in 1901 in honor to tragic events on the Hodynsky field. In 1920 temple has been closed. With 1991 on 2000 restoration was spent.

In 1896, during celebrations for the coronation of Emperor Nicholas II in the distribution of gifts there was a crush.According to official figures, on Hodynsky field died in 1360 people, several hundred were injured. now it is the operating temple.
