Kerlingarfjöll tour

I went for a three day hiking trip to Kerlingarfjöll (The Giantess Mountains). They are situated between two large glaciers; Hofsjökull and Langjökull.
The Kerlingarfjöll area is one of the largest geothermal areas in all of Europe and is truly a hikers paradise. I tried to capture the beauty of the place but I find my photos very lacking in the real atmosphere of the place... the wide spaces, the incredible colours, the sounds, the smell... it is something that has to be experienced :o)
