On a summer evening...


... lying in the grass, listening to the sound of flies and birds and of the wind in the grass, feeling the air cool as the sun dips lower...

Nothing much happening here... but please view larger... and maybe play the song and take a few minutes to close your eyes and just relaaaaaax :o)


This was an outtake which I decided to try and salvage with my trial version of Photomatix, it's still að bit dark, but I really like the light on the grass... the long light of the Icelandic summer evenings :o)

Ég vistaði 5 exposures úr einni raw mynd í Lightroom og flutti þær inn í Photomatix, náði þannig að redda smá af myndinni. Hún var algjörlega ónothæf, og ég nennti ekki að fara að blanda saman tveim eða þrem myndum í Photoshop ;o) (er nefnilega bara með laptop heima og er að vinna myndirnar þar á trackpadinum, ekki einu sinni með mús) :D

Takk Oddur, það er fátt betra en að liggja í laut í góðu veðri :o)

Og ég get nú ekki sagt að mér gangi neitt svaka vel með þetta HDR, búin að prófa þetta á mörgum myndum en þessi var sú eina sem var nokkurn veginn boðleg ;o)
Þarf að prófa að taka 5 myndir með mismunandi exposure og flytja þær inn í forritið í staðinn fyrir að vera að vinna þetta úr einni mynd... :o)

OK, I can see HDR coming in to it's own, in this shot! But the basic photo is a corker!!! :-D Michael hits the nail on the head - this is just like actually being there... Now all we need is an image about the size of my living-room wall, so I can print it out and stick it up there and pretend I'm looking at this scene myself! :-D (So if you could just arrange an image about 100,000 x 200,000 that would be fine!!!! :-D)

Thank you Nigel! This shot was an outtake, but when I looked at it again I felt there was something about it and decided to try and rescue it with Photomatix... :o) Too bad I can't provide you with this resolution... maybe if I had an Hasselblad H3D 39 megapixels... :D
