The Great White


Well, since I'm always at work these days, all my recent photos are taken at work too... ;o)

I sneaked up to the top floor on sunday and went out on the veranda and took 7 photos of the mountain ranges across the fjord and stitched them together (with the good help of PS CS3)

When I was in Reykjavik last July, I had the pleasure to see these mountains from the window of my hotel room. Of course without snow.
The "Baron" was not very comfortable. But this view was marvellous. Especially for me, who lives far from the sea at home.

Rosalega flott útsýni sem þú hefur í vinnunni Begga! Best að hrósa þér, frekar en forritinu fyrir saumunina, flott samsetning! Svo eru litirnir mjög tærir og flottir, dökkblár og kaldur sjórinn, tær og ferskur snjórinn og mildur litur á himninum, glæsilegt pano :o)

Takk Oddur :D Já, ef maður skýst upp á efstu hæð þá fær maður þetta fína útsýni!
Ég tók einmitt eftir því þegar ég fór að vinna myndina hvað sjórinn var dökkblár, greinilega mjög kaldur! Veröldin var mjög fersk og tær þennan dag... :o)

Var loksins að sjá myndina í fullri stærð og hún er rosalega flott. Sérstaklega hægri hluti myndarinnar, fjöllin, snjórinn og klettarnir eru alveg meiriháttar skarpir og meira að segja ljósastaurarnir gefa myndinni ákveðinn sjarma :o)

Takk Oddur :D Já, það munar töluvert miklu að sjá hana í Big eða Original ;o) Það voru fleiri ljósastaurar sýnilegir en ég þurrkaði þá út þar sem þeir trufluðu botninn á myndinni... en þeir sem ég skildi eftir fannst mér í lagi...

Thank you SBH :o) Yes, the contrast is quite strong, the sea becomes darker the colder it is and the snow had just fallen and was still fresh :o)

Já, þetta eru 7 myndir, en Photoshop CS3 er svo rosalega sniðugt að það gerir þetta eiginlega fyrir mann, maður flytur þær bara allar inn og biður forritið um að splæsa þeim saman, það tekst vel til í flestum tilfellum ;o) svo er bara að snurfusa þetta aðeins á eftir :D
Þetta var miklu meiri vinna hérna í gamla Photoshop þegar maður þurfti að gera allt sjálfur!

Gamla Photoshop CS (hvorki 2 né 3) kann svona líka.
Ég prófaði þetta með myndum sem voru reyndar ekki teknar með þetta fyrir augum, sem sagt bara í gamni og það gekk þokkalega. Hún er ekkert snyrt, þetta var bara tilraun.
