Rauðisandur (Rauðasandur)
Rauðisandur (Red Sands) on the West Fjords... a very remote, beautiful and an unusual place for Iceland. We are more used to black beaches.. at least we who come from the northern part of the country.
Such vastness... and I seriously think I was alone in the world for a while... I kid you not :o)
Not much of an "umph" in this one... but I quite like it, it is somehow true to the reality of the place at that particular time.
