"A letter from home"

"A letter from home"
Taken during the "Sanctuary from the Trenches" exhibition at Dunham Massey. It was recreation of the time in WWI when the house was turned into a hospital from 1918-9. On entering, we were all told that the actors would ignore us as they were back in 1918. It was all wonderfully done and here we see a nurse reading a letter from home in which the patient learns his brother had died. Not a dry eye in the house including mine.

Les's Photography AKA aligeeach, William Sutherland, KLove and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo
