Wavertree Lock-Up. Liverpool. (b. 1796).
This is where the drunks of this once village, now part of Liverpool, would be placed to spend the night sobering up in the company of like minded souls. Originally, it had a flat roof, but this resulted in locals sitting on there tormenting those with ever increasing sore heads. No longer used, which some would say is a shame! No, I never woke up in there.
