Agfa Parat 1
I was going through some cupboards today and found the first camera that I owned..An Agfa Parat 1 dating back to about 1964......I think it was the present for my 13th birthday and was bought in Corby, Northants, UK.....so that makes it about 44 years old. It is an half frame size...that means that the negatives are 24 x 18mm...instead of the usual 24 x 36mm. It has 3 shutter speeds...30, 60 and 125th/sec and B. The aperture goes from f/2.8 through to f/22. I must have taken hundereds of slides with it through the years that I used it..now it just sits in the cupboard getting dusty...but as you can see for its age and usage it is still in very good condition. Although it is fairly old it isn´t worth that much as I have seen them being sold in e-bay for just a few €s.
