Towers of The Tower of London

Towers of The Tower of London
A more off the cuff look at the Tower of London or to be more precise The White Tower . What we see here is the top of the Keep ( or donjon as it can also be called ) and this is the central main part of the castle for want of a better word . It was built by William the Conqueror in 1078 and was seen as a symbol of oppression .
