J. M. Keynes

J. M. Keynes
[Pastel in black, 2012]
For a layman, the modern theories of economy seem simply divided into Keynesian and the school of Friedman. Reading their words, Friedman was just shouting angrily to anything is remotely related to socialism, while Keynes is much more poetic, like:
"If economists could manage to get themselves thought of as humble, competent people on a level with dentists, that would be splendid."
"Most men love money and security more, and creation and construction less, as they get older."
