Kleine Lok auf großer Fahrt 


Am Wochenende war die neu gebaute IK Nr.54 erstmals planmäßig vor Zügen im Einsatz zu erleben. Dies war für mich Anlaß zu einem Kurzausflug ins Preßnitztal. Die Lok fahren zu sehen ist nicht nur eine Augenweide, auch die Ohren bekommen ordentlich was zu hören!

This is taken in Jöhstadt in Saxony at the Preßnitztalbahn. You can find this track about 50 km south of Chemnitz

Kann es sein - dass dieser schwarze Qualm nur beim Anfeuern entsteht - etwas Ähnliches habe ich bei einm Dampfer hier auf der Elbe erlebt - der Qualm war erst schwarz - wie hier - und dann kaum mehr sichtbar -

Die IK ist eine typische Naßdampflokomotive, die qualmen immer so, vor allem wenn die Maschine arbeiten muß!

These old trains are so beautiful. In Argentina there is one with narrow rails that runs from Cholila (Esquel) through patagonia, and it is a great ride to do!
