Climbing the wall at the summit to Chimney Tops is tough! But just take it one step at a time, and before you know it, you are there..

This trail is always too crowded in summer, is the problem. I remember around 1984 I went hiking up there, in middle of summer, and only saw a few people the whole day. The beginning of the trail with the bridges is a wonderful place to just hang around and explore, especially when the flowers start really blooming. Just a bit far of a drive for me, though, I prefer to enjoy the townsend wye or that road into tremont :) Thanks for the visit to my pics Panda!

Well, with the gas prices going thru the roof, I don't know how much we will be in the park this year - even tho we could almost walk from home! ;-)
