please view in original size and tell me what you think of it. unfortunately, the last caption "OTAKU productions" has been cut out by ipernity.
this intro (which took all my weekend..) was done by vectorising a scanned-in drawing in ps cs2, adding different blending modes to get that "metal" surface (using layers of rust and sky, and raindrops for the "pearls"), putting it all in adobe after effects and combine it with several animated bg-layers, some virtual lights and a 3D camera movement. the plug-ins I've used were "magic bullet suite" (for the old film look) and "trapcode 3D stroke" and "starglow".

perhaps just the typo Otaku Nout alone with the effects would be more powerful?
Otaku Nout says:
what has turned out wasn't really an useful intro, but an effects show.
but hey, I had fun doing it and I learned some cool new techniques :)
thanks for your helping comment!

irgendwie wollte ich halt altmodisches film-material mit dem digitalen zeitalter verbinden;
ich muss zugeben, es ginge auch stilvoller :)
