This view of the encampment shows how the men of the NHANG built barriers known as "bull noeses" , formed to separate walk and driveways. Desert Training required strick regulations about how everything was to be built however , the development on how the camp was decorated was up to the camp commander. Story has it that troops, trained six out of seven days a week, Sunday the expected day of worship the troops were relieved of duties to reflect and replenish. They spent many hour of their spare time building these walkways with hand laid desert rock decorating their camps.
