Oooh, i dunno!
Borrowed them off Jonny, who's had them since the early 80s, so he's the expert. He did go into great detail, telling me the difference between the stormtroopers et.c, but i have the concentration span of...ooh, look, a shiny thing! *wanders off*
*comes back in*
...apparently it should have a little, plastic dome on the 'roof', just remembered.
Anyway, looks like this...

"However, by the time of the Second World War, many were already obsolete or were found to be unsuccessful in their appointed task, and many tankettes ended up being relegated to 'tractor' duties ..."
A tractor thus, nicely fits the garden photo above and better suits tofu ;-)))
tbh, i've been a veggie nearly 19 years and nothing suits tofu.... ;p
Only joking! I agreed with your tankette description so much so that i incorporated into the next Dave pic...and i hardly ever agree with anything or one, self included ;)
Tankette!..fantastic!..God!..it brings it all back..my mate Richard had the Millenium Falcon,..the BIG one!..well it was to us beause we were really quite small back then..but I swapped a "Space 1999" Eagle..for a "Landspeeder"..THAT my friends, is a RIGHT touch!..brilliant pic!..I have to see the " Stormtroopers".."dum-dum dum dom dee dum dom deeduuuuum"..."Evil Emperor Music"..oh yes!
There's always a Richard in every class, isn't there? Tabitha Winstanley had the Barbie 'holiday home' - basically a yellow box on wheels, but it made her the envy of Mrs.Roberts' class
I tried sticking the dum-dum dum dom dee dum dom deeduuuuum music on here so it'd play when any-one looked at the pic, but, sadly, deezer.com seems to only like 'popular music' (pfft to them, eh?!)
that IS popular music, you know it, I know it,Alan knows it miss mira knows it!..what i n the wide wide world of sport, is they talkin' 'bout 'n ting?..its not right!
Wouldn't play for me though :( Infact, half the songs i like on there won't play...wanted Beck's 'where it's at' for another pic, but refuses to play it...grrr!
'N ting aint nothing (eww, double negative, bad sam)...well, they can't steam my specs up like Serge, but that's probably on account of them being Mancunians and we don't have the sexiest of accents!
Oh no, you've gone and got yourself an admirer now MM - Dave just can't resist a pretty face, especially when it belongs to a funky-cool human such as yourself!
