I really think that people lived there, without knowing. The two houses stand side by side, this one beeing the small one and the other one bigger... My guess is that the people who lived there had something to do with fish/fishing... If I find out more... I will post it here :o)

I like this picture. The colours and the contrast. I like also how the house just sits right on the lanscape without doing nothing else. So much monology, so modest and honest?
From an architectural point of view; that´s a common sight in Iceland, after the days of the turfhouses. In the turfhouses "we" combined architecture and landscaping. The landscape and the turfhouse became one, was even more of a landscape work :) This one goes to my favourites, because of its story.
