what are the "the shifts in weather"?
i know dark winter…
Posted 10 months ago. ( permalink )
Ragnheidur pro replies:
"shifts" in weather.... Iceland is a terrific country!!! We have dark winters yes but we also have daylight 24/7 for weeks during sommer. But the weather is very unstable... You never know what happens in the next hour or so (maybe not NEVER but you get the picture). F.ex. you can wake up in a fairly good wx, sunshine, no wind... Next thing u know there is snowing a lot/raining with hard wind/gusts - and a little later sun again... Actually "visitors" do find this interesting and it is ok IF u are prepared and have cloths that "fit" the weather :o)

I spent 4 1/2 weeks for workiing in Andalusia. I can't see the sun anymore. I think, I should travel to Iceland… ;-)
The day before yesterday I left the airplane in Cologne short before midnight and I enjoyed the cold and wet air

So beautiful, and the house adds a very special mood... I imagine someone in that house is telling fairytales to his children.

This must have been a long exposure although the stars are NOT (editet...) too much blurry... In F.ckr there used to be the possibility to see the EXIF data but I don't see it here. I don't know if it's a choice of yours or it is a general system lack.
What was the exposure time?

Very attractive picture, BTW!

This is a long exposure... taken at 64seconfds - which is the reason for the stars beeing blurry... That happens when you shoot the Aurora Borealis.. Am not sure if it is possible to let the exif show with the pictures but if that is the case I don´t know how - but I will check it out... And thanks...
