talent is for playing, not for listening! hahaha
I especially 'hate' it when people use this word for any boring profession these days. Even an accountant can have accounting 'talent'... [don't take it personally, but this is the traditional profession associated with boredom! I don't know why...]. It could be so when it's 'creative' accounting, which is not supposed to be real accounting, but a way to do... well, other things.
BTW in Dutch means the VAT, hahaha!
So now, except of judge and musician you are promoted as a doctor as well?!?!?!?

Lillian Virginia Mountweazel replies:
Hahahaha, talent is for both playing and listening - it goes hand in hand, so to speak :-))) If someone doesn't have a "listening talent", he/she possibly couldn't fully appreciate what is being played...let alone join the band

So the VAT is the only thing that is done with talent in Holland?! ;-PPP

No, I don't take it personally what you said about talent, and accounting is just one of my many talents :-DDD
Well, you don't like the word talent to be overused, I hear you - many words are overused these days or purposely used incorrectly. Impression is everything. Ahhhhhh!

peri22bpro replies:
not only many words are overused, but in the wrong way as well!

...true, but that, however, contributes, to a certain degree, to the evolution of the language :-)
