This picture was made at a time when the K-pack was on the summit of its life. We knew that there will never be better times than this ... but we enjoyed it!

In January of 1999 Billy and Polly gave birth to 10 puppies - 2 girls and 8 boys. Billy was the proudest and most affectionated father the world has ever seen. Polly was the most affectionated but also strict mother and cleaned up all and everything (especially the tiny butts of the pups ;-) and she had enough of the white nourishment called milk the ten puppies were crazy for. And last but not least Geli and me were the proudest 'grandparents'!

I made hundrets of photos on film (with a digicam they would be thousands I'm afraid) and hours of movies this ten wonderful weeks with the 'big pack'. The photos are all on paper and I didn't found the time to digitize them yet. Maybe some day ...

Dieses Bild entstand zur schönsten Zeit des Rudels 'Knuddelbacke'. Wir waren uns bewußt, dass es niemals schöner werden wird ... aber wir genossen die Zeit!

Im Januar 1999 bekamen Billy und Polly 10 Welpen - 2 Mädels und 8 Jungs. Billy war der stolzeste und liebevollste Vater, den die Welt je gesehen hat. Polly war die liebevollste aber auch strenge Mutter und säuberte wirklich alles (besonders die kleinen Ärsche der Scheißerchen ;-) und sie hatte genügend von der weißen Nahrung, die man Milch nennt, auf die die Welpen verrückt waren. Und nicht zuletzt waren Geli und ich die stolzesten 'Großeltern'!

Ich schoß hunderte Fotos auf Film (mit einer Digitalkamera wären es sicher tausende geworden, fürchte ich) und drehte Stunden Film in diesen wunderbaren zehn Wochen mit dem Riesenrudel. Die Fotos sind alles Papierabzüge und ich habe noch nicht die Zeit gefunden, diese zu digitalisieren. Vielleicht, eine Tages ...
