so interesting! i will be seeing pina bausch in los angeles next week. it will be the fifth time i have seen her dance theater since 1984. there is nobody quite like her!
Pina Bausch is so bizarre I don't know what to think about it! I don't understand anything but I like it.
I was twice in a Pina Bausch performance in Wuppertal, which is kind of close to where I live. It's nearly impossible to get tickets the regular way. Therefore I went to Wuppertal with some friends and we speculated to get tickets of people who don't show up. It worked both times. When there weren't enough seats for all of us, the ticket lady brought additional chairs. Because Pina Bausch is so bizarre many people left at the break, especially in the first few rows. We all had great seats after the break.
