ist das eigentlich ein auto-self also selbstgeschossen? wirkt mit drumrum auch schön! (oder ist das gar nicht das gleiche wie das andere?) edit... nope, ich bin doof, das ist ganz anders. :))

Die Frage kam bei flickr zb immer wieder hoch, wann ist ein Selbst-Portrait eines?
Rund um das 365-Days Projekt, wurde auch diskutiert ob auto.timer-shots erlaubt sind oder Fernbedienungen etc. Regel war später dann, man muss es selbst gemacht haben.

Wenn du hier ein Bild von dir reinstellst in deinem Account ist es ein Selbstportrait in gewisser Weise, weil es Dich zeigt. In dem Zusammenhang. Auch wenn du es nicht unbedingt selbst geschossen hast. - Meine Selbstportraits sind immer von mir selbst, also ich sehe das wie Du, ... andere wiederum nicht so "eng".

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn: Sehr schönes Portrait. Und umso schöner wenn du es selbst gemacht hast.

I think it has "a slight" gothic element to it that is perhaps contradicted a little by the intensity of the white light. I find it a little distracting in that it doesn't enable much visible separation of contours around the upper portion of your nose thereby making it look one dimensional or flat in appearance. It does wonders in making the eyes an impactual photographic element but for me the impetus of the image is not contained in the eyes.
I think the real impetus of the image is in the overall contrast of your persona against the texture of the background where one is hard and the other appears hard but has an underlying soft quality.
Not any real criticism Gina just some subjective thoughts and opinions from my perspective being shared with you.
