You are good :) Yes, Uchisar has indeed a castle- It's more like a huge rock with lots of caves in it, but you can see it from all around the area as it is the hightest point. I will certainly post the castle as well in the next time...
And I think you are right with the b&w conversion. I think I will do a second version - but also I like the different colors a lot in this version.

In a way you are right about the colours :-) To tell the truth I am playing with this photo right now in ordee to see how it can be converted into B&W. I am exercising on that as I bought a very good book on B&W conversion and I am taking the challenge to convert pictures of different natures! Well, this one seems to be a challenge ;-)

Also das Bild lebt doch von den Komplementärkontrasten (gelb - blau, Himmel - Stein) und der gelb angeleuchtete Stein macht die spezielle Lichtstimmung aus. Das ist 'ne echte Herausforderung, dies in S/W umzusetzen.
