What price wild life gardening ?

What price wild life gardening ?
The Buddleia is finally showing its colours, the sun is shining, and we have our first colourful (if somewhat jaded) butterfly, a Red(dish) Admiral. I tried to use the long lens as macro to see how it performed but, in a blink of the eye, the insect had gone. Where to?? I searched the rest of the buddleia, the other flowers popular with the bees and wasps but no sign. My wife finally spotted it - sitting on the plastic patio chair !! I mean, what is the point? Try to plan a wildlife friendly garden and the winner is my plastic chair, I ask you. ;-)
