Banded Demoiselle on the wing

Banded Demoiselle on the wing
Went back down to the River Bollin and had another attempt to capture the Banded Demoiselle damselfly flying. I used the longer reach lens but had to pull it back from 400mm to 250mm as the picture was too small to pick up the insect in flight let alone follow it. It was also a different insect, in a different place, and across the river's width (yesterday's Demoiselle was still there but spent its time sitting on a twig!) Still, it was good to see them in action (or resting, as the case may be.)
