En Pointe
"La vida, un ballet sobre un tema histórico, una historia sobre un hecho vivido, un hecho vivido sobre un hecho real.”
― Julio Cortázar

"Life is a ballet about a subject from the past, a story about something experienced, an experience that comes from something real.”
― Julio Cortázar

A ballerina 'en pointe' - on the tips of the toes of her ballet shoes - on Main Street, in Ashland, Oregon, during the annual Halloween Parade and fesitivies/revels.

This is delightful and a great composition. Love the contrast (so many b&w these days are not so strong on the contrast)

I'm trying to revive the group 'L'instant decisif - Henri Cartier-Bresson' and this photo would be wonderful for the group. Add if you feel like it.

(And it's nice to find you - found by searching for 'street' in photos - and to discover the photo is from Oregon! I live in Oregon. Small/large world.)

Thank you. Seriously. I'll check the group out.

Thanks for joining the group and adding more photos!

(just so you know, I am not online every day, and so sometimes it takes a few days for me to moderate my groups - feel free to send me a message if it seems to take too long).

You should be able to 'suggest' other people's photos to the group as well, if you see something that you think is a high quality street photo of the 'decisive moment' variety.
