Peaceful and minimalistic, yet not boring. Great!

Rob Youngpro replies:
I try not to be boring, but sometimes it doesn't work. :-)

urb256pro replies:
Oh, sorry, I didn't mean you're boring. NO WAY.
It was meant the way, that I know, that landscape pictures often tend to be quite boring, and you managed to take an interesting photo af a minimalistc landscape.

Rob Youngpro replies:
No offense taken, just my sense of humour. I really don't like too many elements in an image, so I usually work with just a few shapes. Thanks for looking at my work. I hope you come back soon.

Great atmosphere, Rob- i like the ominous feel of the lowering clouds and bare trees, contrasted with the life and colour of the field

out of curiosity, is this also related to the water supply issue? (as you mentioned before)
anyway, its a very good photo indeed.

Rob Youngpro replies:
I think so, this area has been in drought for over 5 years. A lot of the older larger trees are feeling the stress. There ground is very dry and it takes a lot of water for it to start soaking in. The first few showers just run off the surface because the ground is so hard.

Great picture - I like how my eyes are draged from one tree to the other by the "simpliness?" of the picture :o)

Rob Youngpro replies:
Thank you, I appreciate your comment (simpleness, your English is much much better than my Icelandic)

Ragnheidurpro replies:
Muhaha, my english spelling is not perfect :o) Thanks for the correction... :o)

Rob Youngpro replies:
I hope I didn't offend you with the correction. My English spelling isn't perfect either. I use a spelling check most of the time. :-)
