When I saw it I immediately thought people would think I cloned the bird, but I assure you it is a for real image. I saw them fly over me and I just aimed the camera straight up and pressed the shutter, I wasn't sure I had got them in frame, let alone in focus. I was very impressed. That's a Canon for you!
It's just a weird sense realizing you assume pictures like this one to be a product of pixel-movement while taking others, e. g. advertisements (esp. with flawless people in them), as representations of reality.
I need to revert my sense of scepticism and gullibility. :)
