Bridal Veil Falls

Bridal Veil Falls
There are two Bridal Veil Falls in our area and must be hundreds of others, but this falls is in Alaska along the Richardson Highway between Glennallen and Valdez - in Keystone Canyon, a part of Thompson Pass. The day was the worst day of our trip, with rain and very low clouds, but we managed a hike to Worthington Glacier and stopped for pictures at various points in Thompson Pass before heading back to Glennallen.

Ecobird, Don Sutherland, Annemarie, Scott Lilley and 17 other people have particularly liked this photo

It was very rainy when we passed by this area. My photo of Bridal Falls was very mediocre so I probably won't post it. Fortunately, I can enjoy your photo which brings back good memories. I'll post a photo of Horsetail Falls, which was near Bridal Falls, at some point. I'm impressed that you were able to get so much detail on such a gray day.

Ron, I would recognize this photo anywhere, perhaps less than perfect weather for same, but never the less I think it is perfect. Great color, you were lucky at that.

What an awesome waterfall!! Nicely captured despite the weather conditions.

There is a Bridal Veil(s) Falls in almost every state it seems... hehehe... Seems to be a very popular name for waterfalls.

Of course here in Calif. there is only one Bridal Veil Falls, which we consider the ultimate.
But this one is quite charming.
