Douglas' Buckwheat

Douglas' Buckwheat
Eriogonum douglasii is one of our spring wildflowers but grows only in dry areas and so we see it only on the eastern side of the Cascades. These were photographed along the Ray Westburg trail on Manastash Ridge south of Ellensburg, Washington, a fabulous place for wildflowers in the spring.

Nice. This could be a very nice B&W with just a hint of the color a little off-center.????

It probably is a little off-center. Just couldn't seem to get the centering right.
