Olympic Flower Garden

Olympic Flower Garden
One of the reasons we try to get to Olympic National Park as often as we possibly can is the incredible show of wildflowers in the park. This photo was taken along the Hurricane Ridge Road, one of the best places to see the park's wildflowers. The flowers in the picture include the Western Wallflower (yellow-orange), Sub-alpine Lupine (blue), and the Slender Paintbrush (orange or red).

Beautiful ! This brings back memories of a visit we made to friends in Seattle many moons ago. We spent a weekend in the Olympics and I well remember the wonderful wild flowers. Thanks for the memory !
