For years I'd wanted to meet a gato montés
through sheer serendipity now I have
where one might have least expected it.

My thanks to his mistress for sharing her grace and wisdom
+ a little more, from stroking to stoking

He'd been happy enough that morning, apparently, when he'd escaped and cavorted on the beach, rolling in the sand and ignoring the calls, returning in his own time... he he!

This was after he'd been somewhat distracted by a recent arrival... which might explain the look ;-)
