Thank you! I like them too, but can never get close to them... For this one I'd gone off exploring a bit and approached the river from under the bridge (I usually look from the top) and then suddely - I saw it there! I quickly hid behind the column of the bridge and peeked out really carefully to sneak off a few shots before he saw me, once he did he flew off... :-)

great.... i love the water.... also that out of focus grass looks great... but the best is the bird! it's dark, but somehow her/his head is lighted!!
