Let The Sunshine In - I


Since the sun isn't there these days, I decided to do as if it were there. I've always liked to sing, but I never dared, I thought I couldn't... until I came to Canada. Here you can try new things you'd never have tried in your home country. No one is judging you, everyone is encouraging you.
I took lessons for two years and worked on standards of Gershwin (Porgy & Bess for instance), Nina Simone, Billie Holiday... I am still a beginner, but I found another way to express (and relax!!) myself. One hour singing lesson was as good as a 90 minutes yoga session! So if you live in Montreal and one day you see a Chrysler from which a weird sound is coming... it might as well be me!

Singing is king, no doubt. I guess, the Lord - or whatever higher power people tend to believe in (when I don't) - was singing, when they made the world. :-P (but if he was..., it must have been the hell of a song, cuz it took all his focus away...) P.S.: His=Her and vice versa.
