Sie war eine richtig Nette, schenkte mir einen Stopfpilz, vom Ehemann selbst gedrechselt, der -weil ich nicht stopfen kann- mittlerweile auf der Sammelsuriumsmitbringselfensterbank steht. A small correction, I think her name is spelled Genowefa - a rather old-fashioned, female Christian name that noone ever gives to their children nowadays. Gienia is probably the most common diminutive.
