Das war gar nicht so einfach, eine einzelne Bluete in Richweite zu finden! Die meisten Blueten sitzen dich an dicht, in dicken Gruppen da an den Aesten. Davon kommen demnaechst noch mehr Fotos ...

Aber wirklich: Ich hab heute beim Abendessen wieder den Baum im Licht der untergehenden Sonne gluehen sehen. Sowas muss man einfach in Natur erleben!

Danke, Olaf. Den Baum gibt's nur in tropischen Gegenden. Auch hier in den kontinentalen USA sind sie eher selten. Dafuer gibt es aber umso mehr in Puerto Rico und Hawaii.

Ich wuenschte, ich koennte euch das sehen lassen, wie er besonders abends wirklich GLUEHT!

Die Fotos hier sind bei unguenstigem Licht aufgenommen, in der prallen Vormittagssonne. Da kommen die Farben nicht halb so gut raus, und man kann von Fotos her nur erahnen, wie der ganze Baum wirkt ...
