Launch of Everett F Wells / Comments

One of my all time favourite sets of images ever. These will have to go on the MitWS blog, definitely!

I have more to come, some of them still haven't been scanned, while others still need spotting and scratch removal. Even with the limited amount of work I am doing it takes about an hour per slide...

I would very much like to see more pictures of this ship and to know if you know what became of it. My name then was Benjamin Everett Wells and the ship was named for my grandfather. We attended the christening in 1976, saw the ship years later in Venezuela but, alas, corporate politics prevented further visits. I look forward to seeing what all becomes of your scans!
