A moment in the middle of the road

A few days ago I had to wait for someone in the chawk of Varanasi (Benaras).
It was one of the hotest day of the year, I was trying to be busy in order to forget the heat.
I found funny to stay in the middle of the road and to shoot this video.
There was not too much of traffic as it was early in the afternoon.
This is a slice of life in the oldest living city in the world where traditional and timeless people mingle with modernity...

magnificent, in more than one way - it's the order of things to be only in India/Asia (the picture would have been so much different on Place de la Concorde), how all pass you without touching (let alone being run over) and the wonderful sensation for me as a viewer to be suddenly part of this "in the middle" - thanks

It is indeed very different from Paris however I am always amazed to see that there are very few accidents there, there is in fact a logic behind this "mess".
