eternity maze squircle 


this little gem I brought from Latin America. Pre-incaic cultures used highly stylized and synthesized zoomorphic figures in their artwork and jewelry. This maze here hosts a frog in the center of it, symbolizing eternity like the maze that springs from its features.

stimmt. jetzt sehe ich den frosch auch. auf den ersten blick erinnerte es mich an eine walnuss (das universum in der nußschale?) bzw. ein querschnitt eines gehirns. jedenfalls ein schoener talismann!

danke für die Morgengrüße :)) Die Sammlung ist ehrlich gesagt schon 500 squircle stark auf meiner Festplatte, aus flickr-times, aber hier habe ich erst ein paar wenige hochgeladen :)

das ist irgendein Naturstein aus Ecuador, der ähnlich wie Speckstein relativ leicht bearbeitet und zu Formen geschnitzt werden kann.
