If you can't do that at the dark end, dark areas in the photo seems to be falsely black.
If you can't recognize all boxes at the bright end, bright areas in the photo seems to be falsely white.
1. If problems occur at the bright and dark end, you should lower the contrast on your monitor.
2. If problems occur only at the bright end, you should lower the brightness and/or the contrast.
3. If problems occur only at the dark end, you should rise the brightness and/or lower the contrast.
