Langesund kirke

Langesund kirke
The original Betel Church from 1755 burned down in 1988.
A new church was erected on the same site. The foundation stone was laid down 28 June 1991 by HRH Princess Martha Louise in the presence of HM King Harald, Queen Sonja and HRH Crown Prince Haakon. It was consecrated in 1992.

Architect: Tor Arne Danielsen / Tormod Bynke.
The church built of brick and wood as a working church with three floors, and there is a lot of activity all week. Seating for 340.

in Bamble municipality, Telemark county.

Nave:
There is the model of the bark "solid" from Langesund, and is made by Inge Høy from London (with ancestry from Langesund).
The materials used in the ship were taken from the remains of the old church. Inge Høy did the work for free as a gift to the church.
