#280: I came, saw, kicked. And you saw it


this was fun editing, i tell you. :)
i had this song in my ipod this morning and wanted to use it for my video today. thought it had to be something positive, and maybe shtoopid but didn't have any plan. so like most times, i just recorded some things, imported them to the video editing tool (imovie 6 here) and started playing around. funnily enough there were some things like the time on my phone and the jumping on my shoes. this happens without any concept ... and what i learn from all this is "hey, just fuckin do it..." even if you don't have any clue: go for it and give it a try.... things turn out better than you think sometimes. i like it.

sascha..auch wenn mal der "beachball" kommt...bzw. das man meint imovie wäre abgekackt..einfach mal so n paar minuten vor sich hinarbeiten lassen..manchmal fängt es sich wieder :)

well, no, that's not the right description. it's the process itself. the ideas came when i was playing with the pictures and adding the music. not listening to the music and then recording my ideas. you know? it's different. no concept, or an on-the-fly-concept. :)

oh i must admin i had one little idea in mind, i wanted to use this "wipe-away-transition", moving the cam away quickly and then place the next part... you see? i did this here several times and think it's fun.

i understand, it's certainly a great way to explore what is possible with camera movement.i'm kind of relieved it's recording the idea, and then finding the music, because with WMM, you can't use any mp4 files, of course, unless i apply the audio by just cranking my stereo loud as I'm recording the video. ;-)
I also find the editing , sometimes more fun than recording the video.

Auch wenn ich immer sehr Kommentierfaul bin, wollt ich nur mal sagen das ich immer noch deine Videos schaue und das sehr gerne. "Immer noch"? *lol das ist nicht so gemeint wie es sich anhoert.

ich hole gerade die Videos der letzten 12 tage nach. Ich hatte naemlich urlaub und konnt nicht schauen. Macht grossen Spass und dieses Video ist besonders gut. Run DMC sowieso.
