Jagalchi wharf. The pollution was so bad while I was in Busan. One day the schools were closed as it was thought best for children to stay indoors. I cannot imagine the air indoors being any better. I mean - air flows around the place doesn't it?

But seriously in the late sixties when I lived in Tokyo the sky was worst when it turned yellow. The air was thick with particles, and the same mentality prevailed - stay indoors. The air pollution acts in the early 70s made a significant difference to air quality.
