Mi ne komprenas kial ili rifuzis. Kio koncernas la foton mem, mi lasus pli da spaco maldekstre, iom movinte fotilon tiudirekten, por ke la kompozicio estu pli bona. Tamen, la vizaĝo (ĉu iom mirita?) plaĉas al mi.

[ReviewMe] seriously, this one was refused? i think he wasn't aware he has photgraphed. i like the overexposed background, not sure about the composition but i can't tell what it is. been thinking over an over. the head is very (or too much) centered for my personal taste but if i look at the details of the face it's fine. i'm slightly confused... :)

"da nich für" as they say in northern germany. just saw the square thumbnail of the photo and - bingo! in square format he's much more looking out of the picture to an unknown point, looks somehow even more interesting, imho.

Ĉe la ĉeĥa servilo fotoaparat.cz kie mi iam partoprenis, oni multe diskutis pri la fortranĉo de la supra parto de kapo - oni diris, ke tio iom iĝas kliŝo, sed laŭ mi ĉi tie taŭge uzita.

Estas Endre Machlik, juna esperantisto kiun mi iam kaŝe fotis. Pri la manko de spaco maldekstre vi pravas. Sed kiel ĉiam en kaŝa fotografio oni ne havas multan tempon por pensi pri la bela bildaranĝo. Oni devas tuj foti, ĉar 1 sekundon poste la mieno jam povas esti alia...

Vi tute pravas pri la tujeco de kaŝa fotografio. Mi ne opiniis tion kiel negativa kritiko. Ĉeĥe oni diras: post batalo ĉiu estus generalo :-)

The only enhancement I'd do is to choce a different crop, since for my taste the boy is too central ... just try to take away a little bit of the right border, so that the right eye gets to the right one-thirds line, most probably resulting in a square crop.

Danke für den Tipp! Ich habe es jetzt so mal ausprobiert. Was denkst du? Das rechte Auge ist jetzt noch nicht genau auf 2/3, aber ich wollte auch nicht mehr von dem Ohr abschneiden ...

Ja, ich denke, das macht das ganze deutlich intensiver. Ich würde auch das Ohr nicht abschneiden.
Aber ich bin auch kein Profi, also lasse dich natürlich von deinem ganz persönlichen Geschmack leiten.
