Train station runners


On Black - Localize - Recent - Interestingness - Blog

Don't like the title of this one anymore, but this snapshot was one of my first really popular shots on flickr more than one year ago. And still people seem to like it. Soon it will have more than 40000 and still very week it got some faves. It's one this picture, I don't really know what it is that people take a look at it. Okay, an asian women always attracts people, but there are other, better ones I think, but much less popular...

I think it is a very appealing shot because a) the 3 front people seem to run in total harmony. b) They seem to run in parallel to the yellow line and 2 of them are looking down as if they want to keep that relation with the line. c) There's a sense of urgency which has become the norm nowadays. d) It captures the motion very well and gives a feeling of dynamism.
In short, it's a very good shot and deserves all the views and faves!

This photo is nice, there is no question about that, but I looked at it because I got curious when I saw the thumbnail.

I saw people running and in the front were this slim looking woman in this nice white dress :) Who doesn't get curious enough to to take a look what is going on? That good looking woman in a as nice dress as that gets even women curious :) My guess is that half of the 40000 viewers are women :)

Na es ist ja nicht nur einfach irgendeine asiatische Frau, sondern sie hat auch einen sehr netten Schlitz im Kleid, sie ist in Bewegung, sie läuft fast auf den Betrachter zu - und die ganze Szene ist so real bewegt, so direkt lebendig, daß sie mitreißt.
Mich wundert der Erfolg dieses Bildes überhaupt nicht :-)
