Jemeluk can be dived from the beach. The first meters we fly, like at Tulamben´s drop off over a sandy-muddy bottom. Then in about seven meters we spot car tires, which are used to hold ropes for buoys and have already become a hang out for small fish and corals.
It is good to see how nature is conquering her world back.

We keep right, so to a southeastern direction. In about ten meters of depth there is a large coral block covered with sea fans and hard corals. Red and black spotted coral groupers float in the blue water surrounded by small transparent fishes. Curious as they are, they look into the camera and hide away when I get close.

Steep cliffs in a southeastern direction are the natural borders of the bay. There you can go deep. Jemeluk offers much.

Sometimes there are currents. One should be careful not to be carried past the rocks and out of the bay. It is advisable to have a surface marker in the bcd. Because there can be heavy boat traffic.
